Sam Aurel Alcide Joseph Savignac, age 67, of Kitchener, succumbed to cancer surrounded by his family and friends on January 28, 2017.

Sam is survived by his wife Susan Kaljas, his two daughters Tracey and her husband Marvin Cook, Carrie and her husband Mark O'Connell and Grandson Andrew O'Connell. His brother Ray Savignac and his wife Jane, brother in law Germain Rivest and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents Roland and Jeannette Savignac, sister
Pauline Rivest.

A special thank you to the staff at Grand River Hospital ICUB for their loving care and
support.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the SPCA would be appreciated.

As per Sam's wishes, there will be no services.

Sue, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. It is never easy to lose a loved one but knowing that others care and are thinking of you help you cope with the lost.

Ken learned today of his buddy passing away and is truly saddened and sorry for the families loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue and the family. Ken will always remember Sam as a great friend who shared many happy times at work and golfing. RIP dear friend

We are sorry to read of Sam's passing. Only meeting him a couple times we remember him as a friendly caring man.
