I am greatly saddened to hear of your passing, Gaston. As a member of Cambridge Symphony for many years I grew accustomed to sitting very close to you and hearing your artistry and musicianship express itself constantly during rehearsals and concerts. I am so grateful for the time we all had to spend with you and will feel such a deep loss going forward. My memories are of a wonderful, accomplished and friendly soul who was such a special gift to all of us..
