Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 76.

Sadly missed by the love of his life of 39 years, Wendy Brown. Proud father of Jeff Pelley (Connie), Christine Pelley, Ryan Brown (Michelle), Chrissy Cahoon (Rory), Cory Brown (Shannel), Kayla Brown (Dan) and 13 grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Linda (Wayne), Donna, Baxter, Gary and Nelson. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Annie, his brother Melvin, his sisters Barb and Viene, and brothers-in-law Danny, Delbert, Gord.

Gerald was born in Come By Chance, Newfoundland and grew up Harcourt, Newfoundland. He was a long-time resident of Hespeler, Ontario. He was employed by Stamped and Enamel Ware Ltd., O’Krafka Brothers and Royal Contractors before retiring from Creative Design Property Maintenance in 2020.

He enjoyed a good game of bingo and frequently played the lottery as well.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal memorial service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Sorry to hear of geralds passing, I had coffee at Tim's in clarenville a few times when he was home last,he was quite a story teller,He new more about Harcourt then I did,, He was also a real close friend of my oldest brother Hartley...He will be missed by all who knew him,,RIP Gerald..

Loved Jerry so much, he was like a father to me and taught me alot more then my own Father did in four short years of me knowing him. He taught me how to fix brakes and change a tire properly. But most of all he taught how important it is to put your family first and take care of them. Rest in peace

Condolences to the family.
I have many fond memories of Gearld. Stayed with him on Queen St. He was a good friend, caring person, however very passionate with hockey. After work one night I feel asleep on the couch watching TV and smoking and woke up to an apartment full of smoke. Gearld came out and saw what happened, went back to bed and we decided the next day that I need to buy a new couch. Blessings to all the family
