Jenny passed away peacefully with family by her side at Lisaard House on July 7, 2018.

Ice cream and a blue rose started a 15 year marriage to Sandor Dosman who made her laugh/smile almost every day.

She is survived by her parents, Frank and Evelyn Ditner and by her sisters Sharon and Theresa and their respective families.

The staff at both Lisaard House and Innisfree House’s also grieve the loss of a friend and co-worker. Witnessing strength, bravery and grace, Jenny tried to emulate these practices during her illness. The hands she once held are embracing her now.

Cremation has taken place.  Please join the family on Monday August 27th at Knox Presbyterian Church – Creiff,  7156 Concession 1 , Puslinch, Ontario at 10:30 a.m.  for memorial reflection/visitation followed by a candle light procession and urn burial service at Mindepark at the Sunset Villa Danish Park. A light lunch will follow. As per Jenny’s wishes, please come dressed in casual yet cheerful attire.

A s a lasting expression of sympathy, please consider supporting either Lisaard House,  Innisfree Hospice or the Optimist Club of Petersburg.  Messages and condolences may be left at tricitycremations.com or 519-772-1237.

Please visit Jennifer's obituary notice on Facebook.

She was one of the strongest beautiful caring people I I have ever known right up to the last days of her life

Now she is free of pain on this side and helping everyone she can on the other side

A beautiful soul has left us to her final restful sleep. Jenny was an amazing young woman who we had the pleasure of watching grow from a little 7 year old to an amazing strong and brave woman. We were lucky when Jenny agreed to be our"Mother's helper" when I decided to return to school. Jenny spent many days helping with our girls in her kind and gentle ways. She would later grace many others with her passion for working in respite care, helping those at the end of their lives. Your physical absence in the lives of Sandor, Frank, Evelyn, Sharon and Theresa will be a heavy burden to carry but your spirit will be felt and shine on their faces.
You will be missed dear Jenny. Rest in peace now, you have fought your battle.

Jenny was one of the bravest and compassionate friends I have had the privilege of knowing. She taught me so much about life and we shared many precious moments together. I will miss her smile. She is with the angels now and though her family grieves they can be comforted in knowing her spirit will always be with them.

Jenn faced her difficulties with grace and a positive state of mind. She is now free of pain and limitations...free to be the young woman with the beautiful smile, kind words, always interested in what was going on in her friends' lives. Rest in peace, Jenn and share your smiles with all the angels around you. We love you and will miss you.

Jenny was one of the few people we meet in life who make an immediate positive first impression. Even though our paths have not crossed for many years, we will always remember Jenny as a beautiful, cheerful and caring person. We were privileged to have known her.
