Our deepest sympathy to Cate and her children and to Sandy, Dwayne, Kate and Bronwyn. To lose a husband, father, son and brother leaves such an emptiness right now but time will heal your hearts and spirits again. You are in our thoughts.

My sincerest condolences to you, Katie, Alli, Adam and Carolyn on the death of your loving husband and father. I worked with Matt for several years and recall many conversations.... about family, the Leafs, the stock market, and the cottage weekends and holidays which he loved. He was so proud of you all. May time help heal your grief and the pain of your tremendous loss. A colleague.

I had the good fortune to work with Matt over 13 years. A class act. He always had a smile and something good to say. I will miss him. I am so sorry for your family’s loss.

My deepest condolences to your family for your loss.
I worked with Matt for many years at Agricorp and we enjoyed many conversations about family, the investment market and agriculture. He was a kind man who always made time for a smile and a friendly greeting. Despite his all too early passing I hope your memories and his love will comfort you during this time.

I've only just learned this. I am so sorry to hear it. Matthew and I first met at Central Public School and I enjoyed the conversations we had (when we recognized each other at 1 Stone Rd decades later) reminiscing about old schoolmates. I still have our class photo and would be happy to share a copy if you are ever interested! May you be comforted by your good memories of him.
