Peacefully in hospital on March 30, 2018, surrounded by family, Sandy reunited with her loved ones. Predeceased by her husband Ronald Plourde and her parents (Muriel Hibberd & Fred Wade) of Belleville. She is survived by her daughter Kelly Jesso (Dave) of Cambridge and son Marcel Plourde (Kara) of Ottawa. Sandy will be greatly missed by her granddaughters Alyssa Jesso and Kiersten & Kaylee Plourde. Also survived by her sisters Sharon Noseworthy (Sam (Eliol) and Joanne Rousselle (Doug), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as friends in White Lake and Florida.

Sandy was selfless, kind and loving to all around her, especially her granddaughters. She was known to be artistic and took pleasure in sewing, crocheting and crafts, sharing her skills with others.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Foundation or Cancer Society would be appreciated. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.

Sandy (Nanny) was so patient and kind with Kiersten and Kaylee. She always found the time to show them how to craft and had many special 'little' things in life that she wanted to share with them. Both girls have always commented about how nice Nanny was. Sandy was strong and now she is free of pain and suffering. She will be remembered always and will be greatly loved and missed.

Remembering all the good times we had and how sorry I was when you moved from this area. Rest in peace my friend. Loved and never forgotten.

I feel blessed to have spent time with Sandy. Her sewing expertise really fascinated me - when our granddaughter was born, she created the most beautiful bassinet I'd ever seen. An intelligent, easy-going woman, who could develop a friendship quickly, she was a wonderful Nanny to her granddaughters.
