I am so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful woman. She reached out to me a couple of years ago, we worked together at the Guelph Mercury, but somehow we didn't connect. My condolences to the family.

so very sorry for the loss of Sharon - my thoughts and prayers go out to you
Mary

The day God called you homes

God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough.
And the hills are hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine”.

I remember Sharon fondly, not only for her humour and zest for life but for her kindness and warmth. I had the privilege of getting to know her as a fellow Leadership Waterloo Region alum. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
