You were a wonderful wife and mother.
You were an excellent friend to others.
Remember our songs “TILL” from the start, and “Till the End of Time”
We will never be apart for you will always be in my heart.

Love,
Donald

Dear Donna and Ken,

I was so very sorry to find out your wonderful mom passed away. I felt like she was the kind of mom people dream of. She was so supportive of the two of you, and she allowed Donna and I to make a mess in the kitchen baking things and to have such fun sleepovers. She was always encouraging me for my music interests. She was beautiful inside and out and I will miss her. I am sorry that I did not see her on my trips back to the KW area over the years but my mom kept me up to date. It would have been nice to see her again. My deepest condolences. Thinking of you guys. Love from me and my family.

My heartfelt condolences. Aunt Sophie had fought the battle courageously and now rests in God’s arms. She will be fondly remembered.

Dear Uncle Donald, Ken, and Donna,

I regret missing the celebration of Auntie Sophie's life. The last time I saw her was for Auntie Yaowu---her eldest sister's funeral. As always, she was very kind, answering all the questions I had about the past: she was one of the few people who could fill in details of family history from 60 years ago. Over half a century ago! Her straightforwardness was reassuring, and her inclusiveness was warming. I remember sitting around the kitchen in your Kitchener home just talking, eons ago. I also remember catching up with her after a Lang Lang (?) concert with you. She was always welcoming and very generous in her support, visiting and going out for meals when I was teaching at Wilfrid Laurier. All who knew her will miss her, I am sure of that. Be sure to look after yourselves: she would certainly have wanted that.

With my deepest sympathies,

Terry

Lang Lang played Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, and we picked you up for sushi...I remember well! Thanks Terry.
