It is with deep sadness that we mourn the sudden loss of our cherished Ursula on Saturday January 2, 2021 at Grand River Hospital. She passed peacefully with loved ones by her side.

Ursula is survived by her beloved husband John, and her loving family & friends in both Canada and Germany. Ursula’s kind and loving spirit had a positive impact on many people.  She will be profoundly missed.

Ursula was many things to me and my family including a dear Oma, a family member, a mentor, and an amazing friend. It is without saying her passing has left an unbearable gap in our lives and she will be very deeply missed. She does leave behind with us her impression, many teachings and for that I am forever greatful. Miss you forever my special Ursula & love you forever. “All you need it love” xoxoxoxo

Hi John and Family

I was so shocked, like others to learn of Ursula’s passing. I worked with Ursula at the Bell over 43 years ago. I moved to Toronto then North Carolina but we did get a chance to see each other for lunch a few years ago. She had not changed a bit. I know her death will leave a big hole for you. She was in many ways larger than life. Please accept my condolences and know we will all be reunited one day.
With love and prayers, Faye (Shantz) White

Ursula, my Canadian Mom. I miss you with all my heart. Thank you for inviting me to be part of your life and sharing your kind soul. You influenced me positively, helped me settle in Canada and loved me like your son, and, I loved you like a Mom. I am thankful you were a big part of our family and that we were able to spend so much time together, celebrate holidays and enjoy traditions. We will never forget you.
XOXOXO

Ursula was a warm hearted soul who cared about the neighbourhood and everyone in it. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, She was a thoughtful friend, excellent cook and hostess, a wonderful designer who was willing to share her time and knowledge. She has a calming influence when needed, but would also party with you over lots of wine. A true and honest friend. I miss her a lot.
