Arthur Robert Skinner

1940 – 2026

Art passed away on March 20th, 2026 at the age of 85 at WRHN @ Queen’s Blvd. (St. Mary’s Hospital).

He worked doing many things over the years. He drove a tow truck and a lumber truck. He even drove a forklift for a bit to try something smaller. After that he bought his pride and joy, his truck (Big Red). With Big Red he would haul trailers for companies across the border. He even was a security guard for some of the companies in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Art loved camping as much as he loved driving. Everyone that knows him, sitting around the fire and talking about his life on the road and his experiences were well known. I don’t remember a time when Art and his wife Nikki who passed in 2020 didn’t have a dog and several cats over the years. He was also a person that would help you out if he could, as he had a heart of gold.

He will be sadly missed by his family and his friends.

Art is survived by his daughter Susan Skinner, Edina and her Husband Ryan, and Stephen. His granddaughter Crystal and his great grandchildren Makenna, Madalynn and Landon, as well as 2 nephews Wes and Kevin.

Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Florence, his wife Nikki and his brother Ron.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Messages and condolences for the family may be left in the comments box below.
