Joyce Ann Lawrence

1961 - 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Joyce Lawrence, who left us on March 21, 2026, at age 65, after a brave battle with cancer.

Known for her kind and generous nature, she loved sharing her many talents and hobbies with her family, many friends, and others in her community. Her love of cooking, baking, gardening, and crochet lent to many delicious and creative treasures always shared with those around her. Born on the east coast in Nova Scotia, she never lost her love of the ocean. She enjoyed the simple pleasures found in nature like butterflies, birds, healing herbs, and cherry blossoms. Her love for her best friend Deb Geiger and her beloved dog Chloe was unwavering.

Cherished grandmother of Hayden Yarascavitch and Coraline Yarascavitch.

Dear sister of Marie Damsma and James (Jr.) Lawrence.
She will be especially missed by her nephews(niece); CJ Jeffrey and Cory Labine (Kellie).
Predeceased by her mother; Georgina Lawrence.  

Survived by her father; James (Sr.) Lawrence.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society as expressions of sympathy.
