Carl Frederic Stammschroer

1946  -2025

Carl Frederic Stammschroer passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the age of 78 surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Montreal until the age of 10, when his father passed, the family moved to Kitchener where Carl and his wife Judy raised their family.

Carl became an Electrician with the IBEW Local 804, where he made many long-lasting friendships. He retired at the age of 62, leaving a legacy of leadership and earning the respect of fellow workers.

Clutch loved fast cars, barbecuing and backroad country drives with his wife Judy, not to mention his passion for sweets!

Beloved husband and best friend of Judy (nee Karn) – they were married for over 58 years.

Loving father of Carl, Chrissy (Henry) and Carolyn (Edward).

Cherished grandfather of Erik & Danielle; Henry Jr., Wesley & Nikki; Jordan, Courtney & Alex.

Predeceased by his parents Frank & Caroline, In-laws Marjorie & Del Karn and brother Frank; survived by his sister Erica Dumont (Roger) and family.

Many thanks to the nurses and health care professionals at St. Mary’s and Freeport Hospitals. A very big heartfelt thank you to everyone at AgeCare West Williams, Kitchener, who provided compassionate love and exceptional care to Carl and his family.

As per family wishes, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place privately. We appreciate all your love, prayers and support.
