Cheryl Anne Hambly

Cheryl Anne Hambly passed away on Friday June 12, 2026 at her home in Cambridge at the age of 69.

Cheryl was loved by many. Wonderful parents Bill and Ilene Hambly (predeceased). Siblings Bruce Hambly (Vicki) and Darlene Langford (Bruce). Treasured aunt to Derrick Hambly (Naomi), Nick Hambly (Jenn), Dana King (Dorian) and Ben Langford. Very special great aunt to Matthew, Sarah, Sullivan and Violet. She held dear many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at Langs on June 28, 2026, from 2-5. Words at 3 p.m. (1145 Concession Rd, Cambridge)

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity which you associate with Cheryl.

Cheryl held many jobs into which she poured her all with commitment, expertise and enthusiasm. She worked in Montessori preschool, The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, Polymers Tech, Langs and The RCC in Cambridge.

She loved nature, animals including dogs, cats, birds, wildlife and donkeys and she loved people with generosity and loyalty.

She was a caring soul who loved the past, embraced the present and looked forward to the future.

Cheryl made a difference in this world and she will be missed.
