Daniel Albert Recchia

1947 – 2025

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Dan on April 12, 2025, at the age of 77.  Born on January 14, 1947, to Serena and Daniel Recchia, Dan lived a full life, and his friends and family will cherish his memory.

Dan was a lifelong fan of the Kitchener Rangers, holding season tickets in the same seats for over 40 years. He loved all sports, driving, the Vancouver Canucks and wrestling.

Dan is survived by his children Melissa and Chris, daughter-in-law Colleen, granddaughters Karalissa (Devin), Isabelliya, Hailey, and Morgan, great grandchildren Alejah, Derrick, Hannah and Rachael.  He is predeceased by his parents Dan and Serena, great grandson Hunter and his son Brandon "Jacobs" Recchia.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Dan on May 4, 2025 from 2:00 am to 5:00 pm at Westmount Memorial Celebration Center.  Please wear blue or red to honor Dan's love of the Kitchener Rangers.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Kitchener Minor hockey.
