David Thomas Allardyce

Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. 

Beloved husband and best friend of Pamela Allardyce (nee Sandles) for 47 years. 

Cherished father of Glenn (Erin). 

Proud grandfather of Alexander, William and Jack. 

Also sadly missed by his sister-in-law Janice Oakes and his brother-in-law Archie Oakes of P.E.I.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Georgette Allardyce and twin brother Daniel.  

David was born in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Throughout his life he resided in Dorval Quebec, Vernon British Columbia, Penrith Australia and Etobicoke Ontario before settling down in Cambridge. He was a long-time employee of Consumers Glass in Etobicoke. David was a lifelong fan of the Montreal Expos and the Montreal Canadiens, always cheering for another Stanley Cup. David was a great storyteller and loved sharing his stories with others.  

David will be missed by his friends and family.  

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities would be appreciated by the family.
