Dennis Wayne Smith

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. 

Cherished father of Duane Smith, Nikki Smith,  and Kyle Smith (Heather Reidl).

Proud grandfather of  Mina Smith and Klara Grimwood-Smith. 

Dear brother of Mona Smith (Tim Leggett) and Stephan Smith. 

Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathy (nee Chabot), his parents Ernest and Doreen Smith, his siblings Ernest Smith (Sandi) and Bill Smith (Linda). 

Dennis was a great lover of all things automotive. He was a supervisor at various automotive assembly plants including Budd Automotive. 

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
