Catherine Elizabeth Wheeler

Catherine Elizabeth Wheeler passed away peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on the morning of Wednesday, January 7, 2026. 

Cathy was born in Kingston, Ontario, on February 7, 1957.  

Cathy was employed as a produce manager for more than 25 years. She truly loved her work and was deeply dedicated, a commitment reflected in the awards she received throughout her career. She continually adapted and grew professionally until her reluctant retirement in 2014. Following her retirement, Cathy enjoyed playing games on her computer, listening to music on YouTube, and finding the most thoughtful gifts online. She also discovered a deep love for diamond art. 

Cathy is survived by her trusted friend and confidant, David Gracie; her children Rebecca Wheeler and Jadey Wheeler; her brothers David Wheeler, William Wheeler, and James Wheeler; and her brother-in-law Andy Thompson, along with many nieces and nephews. 

She is predeceased by her brother Robert Wheeler; sister Susan Thompson; her mother Carole Robertson; and William Robertson and her beloved best friend, Cynthia Soltis. 

As per Cathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
