Diane Vinnie Feehan
1958-2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Diane, a beautiful soul, cherished wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother, who left us far too soon at the age of 66. She was embraced by love to the last moment by her only true love and husband, John and her treasured sons, Jonathan, Julian and Jared.
Diane's greatest joy was her family. She adored her husband, John, from the moment they met when she was just 15. It truly was love at first sight. Their love story spanned decades—full of laughter and devotion. Together, they raised three sons who she adored and who made her proud every single day.
Diane was passionate about life and always up for a new adventure whether it be Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, Grand Bend or a girl’s weekend away. Diane's family is from Denmark and she was proud to remain close to her Danish roots - last visiting Denmark in 2023. She retired from Canada Post 10 years ago after working there 30 years, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and friendships made.
Diane brought light, joy, and warmth wherever she went. Her loyalty, kindness, and generous spirit earned her many treasured friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her heart was always most at home with those she loved. No one will ever forget the pretty blonde with her rock star husband, Johnny, buzzing around town or the beach in their little turquoise dune buggy.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, John, her three sons, Jonathan (Katie), Julian (Hanna), Jared (Amanda) and her precious grandchildren, Claire, Madison and Noah, her extended family, father-in-law, John Feehan, Nancy Lea (late Mike), Tammy Hartman (late Brian), Jamie Feehan (Laura), Diane Lenz (late Frank) and Billy Petrie. Predeceased by her mother, Brigit Parry, cherished Aunt Bente and sister-in-law Beverly Detweiler. Dianes's nieces and nephews were always an important part of her life and she loved them all dearly.
Her love was deep, her laughter infectious, and her presence unforgettable. We were lucky to have loved her and been loved by her.
Heaven will certainly be gaining an angel because she was ours and always will be. Missing you forever and always......
A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Innisfree House, in her memory. The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring and compassionate staff at Innisfree House, St. Mary's & Grand River Hospitals .
