Timothy James Joseph Davidson

Passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Innisfree House Hospice in Kitchener on Friday June 27, 2025 at the age of 79.

Tim was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Harold Davidson, brother Jeffrey Davidson, wife Joyce Davidson (McLellan) and daughters Dinelle Davidson and Tyne Doroslovac (Toza).  He is survived by his son Shay Davidson (Cheryl) and daughter Summer Braunig (Kevin).  He will be sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren: Branislav, Adriana, Keanna, Kailyn, Connor, Addison and Kier.

Born in Toronto, Tim became a Computer Programmer and IT Manager at a young age and stayed abreast with the growth of the industry from his early 20’s through his 60’s, focusing his career helping organizations committed to the care of our aging population.  He was a loving husband, a valiant provider, and a wonderful father helping to raise 4 children.

Those who knew Tim will remember him as a remarkable man, intelligent, articulate, loyal, caring, dependable and possessing an incredible wit and beautiful penmanship. His sense of humour was constant and refused to conform to a singular type. Sometimes corny, always clever, and frequently offensive. He was well-known for lines such as "I'm not surprised, I find you very tiring" and "You're a bit of a bag, yourself". He enjoyed following and discussing the changing political landscape and would often reach out to family during an election to ensure everyone voted. In his retirement, he enjoyed swimming at the Y, having coffee at Victoria Park, losing his shirt at the casino, and visiting the library to quench his thirst for reading. Tim was a long-standing member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a lover of shuffleboard, frequently participating in leagues and competitions throughout Southwestern Ontario over the last 30 years.

Special thanks to nurses from Home Health Care, and the staff and volunteers at Innisfree House Hospice for their incredible care and compassion.

A private family gathering will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either of the following incredible organizations:
