Elizabeth Lyn Churchill

1948 -2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth at Lisaard House, Cambridge, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the age of 78. She was surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, she was a warm, caring, generous, and unselfish person who devoted herself to the people she loved. Coffee with friends, card games, and downhill skiing brought her joy, as did travel, dancing, and cooking. But above all, she cherished time with her grandchildren and every opportunity to be surrounded by family.

Beloved wife and best friend of Bromley Churchill. They were married for 57 years.

Loving mother of Jason Churchill (Heidi), Andrea Churchill (Brad), and Jarrett Churchill (Ann-Marie Colacino). Cherished grandmother of Connor, Alyssa, Avrya, Lily, Lyndon, Alexander, and Ava. Dear sister of Alex Murchison (Elena) and Gail LaFrenière (predeceased by her husband, Don). Predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Bernice Murchison.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Liz’s life will be held on Sunday, July 26, from 1–4 p.m. at Four Fathers Brewing Co., 126 Guelph Ave., in Cambridge. To receive updates and details about the celebration, please reach out to the family at lizcelebration2026@gmail.com.
