Roy Edward Steckel

1941- 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Edward Steckel on Thursday September 4th, 2025 at the ae of 84.

Roy was a respected member of the RCMP force for 38 years. He was a loving husband to Marcella for 61 years and a proud father to Mark Steckel  (Cheryl) and Janet Wozniak and grandfather to 4 grandchildren.  

Private cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 400 Holiday Inn Drive, Cambridge on Sunday September 14th at 2:30. Reception to follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WRHN Foundation (to the Kidney and Renal Care)  as expressions of sympathy.
