Proud grandfather of Tamara (Michael), Jessica (Rares), Dylan, Tyler, Brandon (Jasmine), Shaina (Bryce) and Darrin. Proud great-grandfather of Colton, Madilyn, Mona, Aurelia and Rhylee.  He is survived by his brother and sister in-laws Lois Bramley, Jean Russell, Marie (Joey) Lee, Charlie (Sharon) Thomas, Ernest Swim and many nieces and nephews.

George spent much of his life working in the family logging business, a trade he proudly shared with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was also a skilled tradesman, having spent many years working alongside his siblings - building not just homes and structures, but a legacy of hard work and craftsmanship.

Outside of work, George found joy in simple pleasures. He loved watching wrestling with his kids, reading worn and well-loved Western novels, laughing at old English comedies, and enjoying classic cartoons with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His sense of humour was matched only by his deep love for his family.

Those who knew him will remember his selflessness and unwavering work ethic. Always the first to lend a hand and the last to ask for anything in return. Above all else, he cherished his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and joy.

George’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00pm to 4pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at George’s home, 1192 Bleams Rd., Mannheim. There will be no funeral at George’s request.
