Rev Henry Runhart

1937 - 2025

Went to be with his Lord on Monday August 4th, 2025 at WRHN @ Chicopee (formerly Freeport Hospital).

He was born in Dalfsen, Netherlands and came to Canada with parents; Jan and Hendrikje (Dekker) at the age of 11.

Loving husband of Ruth Runhart ( nee Olsen ) for almost 66 years. Father of Michael Runhart ( Sheryle) and Diane Jacques. Grandfather to Matthew (Erika), Tyler ( Naomi) Runhart, Amber, Hollie and Nicolas Jacques. Great grandfather to Luke and Michael Runhart.

Predeceased by his parents and by brothers ( and spouses); Arend ( Neah), Gary ( Elaine) , Johnny and by an infant brother. Also by a sister Fem (Henk) Nyhoff.

Brother to Jenny Wightman ( d. Don) and Joe Runhart ( d. Sonja), Brother-in-law to Doreen and by several nieces and nephews. Special friends of Dave and Jessie Reed.

He was the Pastor in the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada for nearly 50 years serving the Lord in Colburne, Collingwood, Paisley and Listowel. He retired from the Country Hills Missionary Church, Kitchener in 2014.

He wanted his ministry to reflect his love for the Lord and to lead his flock into a deeper walk and knowledge of Christ.

At his request, cremation with no visitation or memorial service to be held.
