Gerald “Gerry” Joseph Gruber

1951 – 2026

Passed away peacefully at WRHN @ Midtown on Thursday April 9th,  2026 at the age of 75.  

Born and raised in Kitchener Ontario, Gerry enjoyed music, video games and working with his hands. An Electrician by trade and a lone wolf at heart, he most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and at his cottage on Buck Lake.

Loving father of Ian Gruber (Lesley Rioux) and Cory Gruber (Cojanna). Cherished grandfather of Drake, William, Nicholas and Benjamin Gruber.

Dear brother of Diane Daub ( Den) and Jim Gruber ( Audrey).

Predeceased by his parents; Sylvester and Marie ( nee Koebel) and brother Bob Gruber.

At Gerry’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service and cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
