Jeffrey B. Nay

1959 – 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey B. Nay, who passed away peacefully in Kitchener on Monday, December 1st, 2025, at the age of 66.

Jeff was born in Wingham, Ontario, in 1959 and raised in Gorrie. He dedicated his career to aerospace machining at Heroux-Devtek, where he took great pride in his work. His passion for aviation extended beyond his job—he loved everything to do with aircraft and the world of flight. Jeff also enjoyed camping, finding peace and comfort in the outdoors.

A true homebody, Jeff enjoyed playing computer games, sharing jokes with friends, and good-naturedly poking fun online. He had a deep love for science fiction, reading, and keeping up with his favourite shows.

Though quiet by nature, Jeff cared deeply for his family—even when he tried to hide it behind humour. He will be remembered as easygoing, genuine, and caring, with a subtle humour and warmth that touched everyone around him.

Jeff is survived by his loving son, Christopher Nay. He is also survived by his brother, Rick Nay, and remembered by his former spouse, Nancy Nay. He is predeceased by his parents, Bill and Donna Nay. 

Honouring Jeff’s wishes, he has been cremated.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday December 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Service and Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. at River of Life Fellowship 32 Weber St W Kitchener.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice as expressions of sympathy.
