Lisa Marie Fournier

November 1967- September 2025 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lisa Marie on Friday September 26th, 2025, at the age of 57 years.

She was born in Norfolk County and spent the majority of her life in Cambridge, Ontario. She later moved to New Hamburg and made many very close friendships with her neighbours.

She was like family to so many of her friends and neighbours, and she will be forever missed and remembered.

She loved being a mom to both of her kids, and was a proud Grandma to Noah, and she made sure everyone knew it. Spending time with her family and friends was her favourite part of life.

She made a lot of great friends while working at GFL in Kitchener.

She was attending school to finish her diploma and was so excited to be nearly complete.

Loving Mother of Jessica-Lynn (Nicole) of Kitchener and Kayleigh “Pebbles” of New Hamburg. Cherished Grandma of Noah.

Beloved daughter of Joan and Larry Fairbairn and to the late Larry Goddard.

Best friend to her former spouse Butch for nearly 40 years.

Aunt to Michelle Goddard and Great Aunt to Aiden and Aria.

Little sister to her brother Michael who predeceased her in 2019.

Sister in-law and childhood best friend to Dee Goddard (Michael)

She will also be greatly missed by her loving partner Fred.

Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life for Lisa will be held on November 9th at 1:00PM at the Kingsdale Community Center at 72 Wilson Ave in Kitchener.
