Marion Stahl

1947-2026

Passed away peacefully at WRHN@chicopee (formerly Freeport) on Tuesday January 6th, 2026 age of 78 years.

Born and raised in Germany, she attended trade school to become a hair stylist. She met and married Peter Stahl, with whom she immigrated to Canada in 1969. Marion cherished her time with her family and friends, and will be remembered for the love of her job, and the numerous lives she touched with her caring and kindness.

Marion leaves behind her daughter, Julie (Mark), grandchildren, Stephanie, (Gordon) and Rachel, great-grandchildren, Greyson and Luella; sisters, Barbara (Reinhold), Karin, and Petra (George).

Predeceased by her parents; Heinz and Erika Schuba (nee Ammerschuber).

She will be sadly missed by extended family, friends, co-workers and neighbours.

In keeping with Marions wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest with her late husband, Peter Stahl (1992) in Sheffield, Ontario in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Humane Society as expressions of sympathy.
