Mary Ann Brodrecht

1950-2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ann in Kitchener on Monday January 12th, 2026, at age of 75 years

Born in Menden West Germany, the family came to Canada in 1963. She worked many years as a hairstylist at Capri Hairstyling.

Loving mother of Kerry (Lesley) and Oliver (Shelley) and the late Collin Brodrecht. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Diana Brodrecht.

Cherished grandmother of Kayla, Abigail, Krystyn, Logan, Rebecca, Maya and Nolan.

Dear Sister of Gisela, Helga, Joe and Birgit.

Predeceased by her parents; Josef and Maria Schneider.

She will be sadly missed by many extended family (nieces, nephews and cousins), friends, clients and neighbours.

In keeping with Mary Ann’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or memorial service.   

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WRHN Foundation in support of the Cancer Centre as expressions of sympathy.
