Mike R. Elliott

1957 -2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mike at WHRN@Midtown (GRH) on Tuesday May 20, 2025, at the age of 68 years.  

Mike was born in Toronto, moving with his family to Kitchener in 1972.  He often said how lucky he was to work at a job he loved, with people he liked, and for a good employer (The City of Kitchener).

He enjoyed sports, the outdoors, camping, and birdwatching, and especially loved his “little men” (grandsons Rome, Noah, Royce, and Tyson).

Beloved husband and best friend of Jane (nee McFarlane). They were married for over 47 years.  

Dear father of Trisha (Justin), Shawn (Jocelyn), Jonathan (April). Special thanks to April for her dedication to his care and comfort during his illness.

Loving son of Jean (nee Fox) and Reginald (deceased). Dear brother of David (wife Cori), and sisters Marilyn and Liz. 

Predeceased by his grandparents Roy and Ruby Elliott, and Earl and Florence Fox.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
