Neil Douglas Hardie

1955- 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neil on February 10th at age 70.

Neil was born and lived his life in Parry Sound. He moved to Kitchener to attend university and ended up staying. He worked at Wendell Motors for many years, then to Wellington Motors for the last 23 years.

Neil loved to hunt and fish and cut down trees.

He will be greatly missed by best friend and wife of 27 years, Janis.

Brother of Sheila Hardie and Brother in-law of Shelley ONeill. Loving uncle of Alec Freed (Ila), Shannon ONeill, David Hilder and Michael Hilder.

Cousin of David and Greg Jewell.

Predeceased by father Clarence Hardie, Mother Dorothy (nee Gettinby), and sister Janet Hilder.

Cremation has taken place.

A family and friend gathering will be held in Parry Sound at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be taking place in Kitchener to be announced at a later date.
