Rae Shorthouse

In loving memory of Rae Shorthouse. 

Rae Shorthouse, 71, beloved spouse, mother and grandmother, passed away on June 20th 2026, in the comfort of her own home. Rae is survived by her loving spouse Richard (Shorthouse) and their three: children, James (Shorthouse), Ashley (Shorthouse) and Jennifer (Landoni) along with their spouses Bonnie, Ryan and Johnny. Rae (Grandma, Nanny) was loved deeply by her grandchildren Robert, Liam, Austin, Owen, Ethan, Lillian and Mickey as well as her great granddaughter Raleigh. 

Rae was born in Toronto on March.7th, 1955 going on to settle and build a family in Cambridge, Ontario. Rae spent many years working as a Property Manager for Cambridge Nonprofit housing and Rae’s accomplishments of humanitarian acts is outstanding. Rae was always available to help another without question, offering her last dollar to someone in need. Rae was devoted to her spouse of nearly 50 years, deeply loved and cherished, and Rae’s love for her children was unwavering. Rae’s infectious laugh will forever be etched into all who knew her, gone but forever in our hearts.
