Roy Fred Dorscht

1937- 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Dorscht on September 6th at WRHN at Chicopee at the age of 89.  Beloved husband of Gail (nee Bender) for 67 wonderful years. Roy will be remembered with love by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was a proud and devoted father to his sons, Randy and Rob, and a cherished father-in-law to Laurie and Rhonda. He was a loving grandfather to Melissa, Jessica, Samantha, Kyle, and Crystal, and a much-loved great-grandfather to many great-grandchildren.

He had a lifelong love of cars and boats and found great joy in spending time at the cottage. Whether working on something he loved, enjoying time by the water, or sharing stories with family, he created memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Roy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Details of Celebration of Life will take place on September 26th at the cottage from 1-4pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
