Tim McConnell

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Tim McConnell, on November 11, 2025. Born in Bath, New Brunswick on June 3, 1957, he carried the roots of home with him wherever he went, especially during his cherished travels between Ontario and New Brunswick.

TM was a devoted father to his two sons, Dylan and Taylor, and a lifelong stepfather to Lindsey and Nicholas. He was a proud grandfather to five beautiful grandchildren, Tyson, Brooklynn, Allison, Lexi, and William; each of whom brought him immeasurable joy. He shared his life and heart with his beloved partner, Virginia, and was a caring brother to Brent, Micheal, and Denise. 

Fiercely loyal and protective, he was a force to be reckoned with when it came to standing up for his family and close friends. Beneath his rock-hard exterior was a soft, “Huggie” heart that revealed itself during his time spent with his family, and his unwavering presence in the lives of those he cherished. 

A true thinker and tinkerer, he approached life with curiosity and determination. He found joy in the simple things: time with family, long drives, shared stories, and listening to his favourite band, The Rolling Stones. As they sing, “You can’t always get what you want,” a line that feels especially true as we mourn the loss of a man whose presence we wish we could keep forever. 

Though his passing was sudden, the impact he made throughout his life was immense and enduring. He will be remembered for his strength, his loyalty, his humour, and the deep love he carried for his family. 

His memory will live on in those who loved him as he now rests in the “sweet sounds of heaven”.
