Walter Eddy Joseph Carriere

1952 – 2026

It is profound sadness that we announce the passing of Walter Carriere at WRHN at Queen’s Blvd. on 26 August 2026 at the age of 74.

Born and raised in Temiscaming, Quebec. He enjoyed sports, and drinking beers with his buddies. He was retired from Durez in Fort Erie. He will be missed for his kind heart and soul. 

Beloved partner and best friend of late Beverly Carriere (nee Kelly) who predeceased him May 1st, 2024. They were together for over 25 years.  

Loving father of Stefan Carriere and Amanda Carriere.

Cherished grandfather of Jacob, Domenick, Alexander, Connor and Everley.

Dear brother of Shirley, Louise, Beatrice, Sylvie, Natalie and Johanne.

Predeceased by his parents; Eugene Carriere and Simmone Barb-Carriere-Belanger.

Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will take place at 420 Pioneer Drive unit 4 Kitchener on September 26th at 12pm.
