William George "Bud" Moseley

1937 – 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bud at Grand River Hospital—Freeport Campus (Chicopee) on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the age of 89.

Bud began his journey in Guelph and Callander before moving to Barrie to work with DeVilbiss. Ever the entrepreneur, he later owned and managed a hotel in Sebringville for four years. However, he found his true professional calling in real estate, serving as a broker for 43 years until his retirement in 2015. Over those decades, he touched many lives, finding perfect homes for countless families.

Beloved husband and best friend of Catharine (née Morris) for over 67 years. Loving father of Deborah Campagnolo and Douglas Moseley (Joanne). Cherished grandfather of Alicia, Samantha (Landen), and Nicholas Campagnolo, and Jack, Emma (Jordan), and Callum (Ellen) Moseley. Dear brother of Irene Smith. Predeceased by his parents, William and Lillian (née Edwards).

Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
