1949 - 2026
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Al Crick on Thursday September 10th, 2026. He was surrounded by his family throughout his last days.
Lovingly missed by his wife Frances of 56 years, Son Lonny (Carol), daughter Sherry (Lewis). His brothers Albert, Dean, Kenny, Lee (Linda) and sisters Isabel, Barbara (Norm), Ruthy, Sharon (Donny), Rachel (Mike) and Debbie(George). Brother-in-law Eric (Karen) and many nieces and nephews.
Cherished Grampy to Brandon (Dee), Matthew (Rachael), Tyson (Jess), Trev, Hadley and Garrett.
Loving Great Grampy to Sophia, Elise, Aerith, and Odin.
Predeceased by his mother Ruth, father Cedrick and sister Robin.
Al will be greatly missed and forever remembered by many friends and acquaintances that he was privileged to have in his life.
It is with great admiration that when Al was given the difficult news of his cancer diagnosis, he remained positive and up-beat throughout the entire length of his illness. His family and friends were so very proud of him for the strength and courage he maintained throughout his journey. His strength lives on in all of us.
Al loved being surrounded by the people he loved, family dinners and sharing good times with friends. He loved people and was known to approach a stranger to strike up a conversation. He absolutely loved animals, enjoyed camping over the years, had a passion for fishing and enjoyed watching documentaries. Al loved life and was so thankful for every single moment he had to be with his family and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to all of the nurses and doctors of the palliative care team at WRHN Chicopee site, 3rd floor East, who cared for Al in such a beautiful way. The kindness and dignity you showed him means the world to our family, and a very special thank you to all family and friends who have been a part of his journey. Al’s strong fight is now over, and we find comfort in knowing he is with our Lord. We love you and will forever miss you. REST IN HEAVENLY PEACE.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
