Dennis Wayne Day

1944 - 2025

Passed away on December 19, 2025 at his home in Kitchener, ON at the age of 81 years.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Carol who predeceased Dennis in March 2025. Loving father of Chris (Janet) and David. Brother-in-law to Karen Day (Ken), uncle to Steve Day and Tim Boggs (Becky).

Dennis is predeceased by his parents Harold and Gladys (nee Brown), brother Ken Day, nephew Jeff Day, brother-in-law Greg Boggs and sister-in-law Barb Boggs.

Dennis was a truck driver by trade, making a lifetime of friends from his travels. An active member of many clubs, he was always quick to volunteer his time. He was also someone you could count on to lend a hand or equipment to anyone needing help.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of the causes that were close to Dennis. The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth, the Food Bank of Waterloo Region or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada as expressions of sympathy.
