Gary Richard Eagar

1944 - 2025

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Palliative Ward) in Guelph on Tuesday September 23rd, 2025 at the age of 81 years.   

 Gary was born in Kitchener to Cyril and Edna (nee Brenner) Eagar in 1944. He was a Truck Driver for C&G Trucking and then went on to become Police Chief in Ayr, On. After that he worked at Forbes Motors as a mechanic, and then went on to work as a security guard, after which he retired. 

He enjoyed horseback riding and boating with family and friends.

He is the cherished brother of Fred Eagar and Diane Feeney, brother in law Edward Feeney. Proud uncle of Heather, Kim, Scott, Bill, Marsha, and Patrick.

Predeceased by his parents and his sister in-law, Mary Eagar.

 Cremation will take place. A Private family gathering / Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kitchener Humane Society as expressions of sympathy.
