Grant Ewart Poole

Grant passed away peacefully with his cherished family by his side listening to his favorite 50’s music.

Grant is survived by his wife of 58 years Nancy, his son David (Teresa), daughter Christine Hughes (Glen) and his grandchildren Emily and Evan Poole and Yvonne and Benjamin Hughes whom he adored.

Grant is also survived by his brother Rick, Gerald, Wayne and sister Yvonne. Predeceased by his brother Ron and parents Frederick and Helen Poole.

Grant had many friends through his love of roller-skating, ice-skating, classic cars and taking his motorcycle out for a ride. Grant loved sports and grew up playing hockey and baseball. He later in life coached minor league baseball and hockey in Hespeler.

Grant enjoyed his retirement and previously worked for the Postal Service, Toronto Transit (TTC), Air Canada and truck driving.

He was selfless and always helping others.

Grant was a wonderful husband and father and Poppa to his grandkids, and he will be deeply missed.
