Yvon Paul Raymond Gallant

1946 - 2025

Passed away peacefully in Kitchener surrounded by the love of his family on October 10th, 2025, at the age of 78 years.

Born in Moncton New Brunswick, He enjoyed his trailer family and the camaraderie of playing horseshoes, darts, and cribbage.  He was a  member of the Moose Lodge for many years.

Beloved husband and best friend of Katharine “Kathy” (nee Fletcher), Together for over 40 years.

Loving father of Sandra Kerr, Yvon Gallant (Cindi), Rodney Harnock (Candace) and Rick Harnock (Lindsy). Predeceased by son Nicholas Gallant.

Cherished grandfather of Scott Fletcher, Keith Fletcher, Emily Desjardin, Brittany Gallant Dre Gallant, Jaczyn Gallant, Bentley Gallant, William Harnock, and Alexis Harnock.

Proud great grandfather of Mason, Riley and Lena Fletcher and Vincent Desjardin.

Dear Brother of Sarah (Frank) Davies, Doris (Hans) Kalkbrenner and Raymond Gallant

He was predeceased by his parents Arias and Emma and by 5 siblings: Jeanette, Camille, Leonard, Edna and Yvonne (his twin sister).

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
