Helmut Richard Fohring

1949-2025  

Passed away peacefully at WRHN@chicopee (formerly  Freeport) surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday October 18, 2025 at the age of 76 years.

Loving partner and best friend of Catherine Fortune.  Beloved father of Karin (Rudy Brown) and by children; Christa W, Brent W and Jahziah B.  

Cherished step-father to Jessica (Grantly), Danielle, Mark M. ,Tammy and by a step grandson, Austin.

He will especially missed by his best friend Zach Zakrzewski ( Richard).

He will be fondly remembered by his brothers, their spouses and their children, friends, neighbours and co-workers.

At Helmut’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place with a private family gathering at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
