Joseph “Ivan” Gallon

Joseph “Ivan” Gallon passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home in Cambridge on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 84. 

Ivan was the beloved husband and best friend of Audrey Eleanor Gallon (nee Rawling), with whom he shared 39 wonderful years. 

He was a cherished father to Lila Stanley (Joelle), Rose Foster (Nelson), Kathy Foster, Danny Mazerolle (Kristen), Denis Gallon (BettyJane), Donna, and Diane. Ivan was also the proud grandfather of Edward Foster (Sonya), Isabell Stanley (Garret), Rosemary Mills (Alex), Danielle Foster, Kenneth, Kyle, Jordan, Kaden, Nathan, and Lueshis, and the loving great-grandfather of Alexus Konstantinou (Josh), Benjiman, and others who will be fondly remembered. 

Ivan was predeceased by his parents, Jimmy and Pricilla Gallon; his twin brother, Allen Gallon; and his grandchildren, Anthony and Brian. 

Ivan will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit and sense of humour. He especially enjoyed playing his cherished guitar, listening to country music, going fishing, and sharing his jokes with anyone who would listen. 

Cremation has taken place, and in keeping with Ivan’s wishes, no formal memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital will be appreciated by the family. Ivan will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives were touched by his laughter, stories, and love.
