Mary Watters

We are sad to announce the passing of Mary Watters (96). Mary has now joined her husband Finley who passed away in 1985.

Mary lived a long and engaging life and was part of our family and our community for 4 decades. In her youth, she was an accomplished curler with many trophies and awards to her name. She also hosted bridge parties with her curling colleagues and friends. Later in life she became a devoted fan of watching all curling and tennis matches and would happily engage in dissecting the games. For many years, Mary was an integral part of our family, spending time together either at our cottage, trips to Cuba or simply sharing traditional holidays throughout the years. As Mary aged, her mobility restricted her, so her trips away transformed into nightly visits to her home. We discussed the topic of the day, and Mary would not shy away in voicing her opinion on the subject at hand. Mary will be sadly missed.

Bern, Gail, Rachel and Eric Bombardier.
